Our approach

We let children be children.

The antidote to the age-old school photo. Our sessions are all about your child and their personality. If they want to run, dance, twirl, cuddle their teddy or show us their favourite dinosaur collection, we are here for it.

With two of us on set there is always someone ready for the action, whether that is a giggle, a cuddle or a cheeky grin.

Teddies are invited

Favourite toys and treasured little things are part of your child's story, and they help little ones feel right at home.

We love the chaos

We chat, play and have a laugh while your child does their thing. We quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) capture the magic.

Who we are

Meet Marianne & Melanie

Two local photographers, mums of two each, and firm believers that the best photographs happen when nobody is being told to sit still and smile.

Between us we have spent over 34 years photographing families, weddings and people across Bristol and London. As mums ourselves, we know how quickly those little faces change. We create the kind of images we would want of our own children: relaxed, timeless, full of character and completely them.

We are both a little bit silly, love a good laugh and love meeting new families.
